Wake Up!

Sooo… I got a job editing photos for a wedding photographer. You may ask “how” and I will tell you. It all began at a wedding show I went with my sister to. Let me tell you… there are a lot of terrible wedding photographers that take blurry photos with ugly flashes. Looking around I saw maybe 2 out of 15 that I deemed acceptable to my sister. One of them I complimented and they asked if I was looking for summer work. I said “sure” and now I drive to Poughkeepsie 2 days a week to sit in her renovated garage “studio” and edit photos. It’s not a bad gig. It’s really fun to see people’s expression and wedding traditions and she has cats that wander in and out. She takes around 3000 photos each gig and I have to go in an pare them down. Also, I’m using a program called Lightroom which is some Adobe program I never heard of and it is really nice. Like Photoshop but you work with a library of pictures and edit tons of photos easily. There is some drama because the woman I’m working for has 2 ex husbands and complains about them [I have only gone for one day and still I know that she is not happy with them and she doesn’t really believe in love anymore] but I respect her photography skills so I don’t mind. Plus it’s a little entertaining.

In other news… Michelle and Eunice may be coming over this weekend! Should be eventful :D

Things are better now! Back to Jewelry making [with wire and beads] Pretty stoked.
